Middlesex Release Contacts

This privately published reference site is not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bail, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the agency that controls the record or custody system.

County Jail and Records

The Middlesex County Adult Correction Center maintains the local jail record. Its Records Information line is the direct starting point when the public lookup does not show a release reason, destination, or older booking. Give staff the full name, date of birth if known, booking or inmate number, and an approximate custody date. Ask whether the information can be confirmed by phone or requires a written public-record request.

1 Apple Orchard Lane
North Brunswick, NJ 08902
General: 732-297-3636
Records Information: 732-951-3355
Master Control, 24-hour dispatch: 732-951-3360

County correctional records may be requested through the Middlesex County OPRA portal, with the county public-record request page and County Counsel request guidance providing official context. Direct a jail-management request to the Adult Corrections custodian and identify the existing booking, movement, release, or image record sought. The Prosecutor OPRA route is separate and should be used only for records held by that office.

Choose the Right Office

A release can cross several systems. Use the office tied to the custody event or legal status, rather than sending the same request to every agency.

Supervision and Court Contacts

The New Jersey State Parole Board accepts lawful status questions through its Public Information Office at SPB-Public-Info-Office@spb.nj.gov. District Parole Office 11 serves Middlesex and Somerset from 550 Jersey Avenue, P.O. Box 595, New Brunswick, NJ 08903, at 732-937-6253. An office contact does not make a parolee's private reporting schedule public.

Middlesex Probation is reached through the Judiciary at 732-645-4300, New Street and P.O. Box 789, New Brunswick. Ask for the correct probation function. Middlesex Intensive Supervision Program is at 928 Livingston Avenue, North Brunswick, NJ 08902, at 732-509-8022. The Judiciary criminal and expungement contacts identify the Middlesex records function at 56 Paterson Street, P.O. Box 964, New Brunswick, NJ 08903-0964, through 732-645-4300 ext. 88155. Court records follow Judiciary Rule 1:38 and the court-record copy process, not county OPRA.

Notification and Immigration Lines

New Jersey VINE provides custody notifications at 1-877-846-3465, with TTY service at 1-866-847-1298. For ICE custody questions, the Detention Reporting and Information Line is 1-888-351-4024, Monday through Friday except holidays, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern. These services answer different questions. A VINE event concerns the record it tracks, while ICE can address a separate immigration custody path.
